Teri Dague

Teri Dague is a professional artist and the designer and creator of The Coloring Collection.

Originally from Oregon, Teri now resides in the Rocky Mountains of British Columbia. Throughout her life, Teri has always been creating. Over time the mediums have changed but the passion for creation and design has been the one consistent thing in her life. She has worked professionally as a commercial graphic designer, pattern and textile design, and has shown in galleries with her acrylic and canvas paintings. Her endeavor into creating coloring books began with needing a break while working on paintings for a gallery collection. This little break turned into her first coloring book, The Coloring Collection, Intimate Interiors, and ignited the newfound passion of coloring book design. Teri believes the secret to a good coloring book is a balance of art, design, and user experience. She strives to hold that standard and improve with every book she makes. "The best thing about creating these books is their collaborative nature. As the designer, I have a vision in my mind of the finished page, but I just create the skeleton, as it were, and hand it off to the creative colorer to bring that page to it's final form. I just think that's really cool."
