James E. Kilgore Ph.D.

Dr. James E Kilgore is the retired President of the International Family Foundation, Inc. His career has concurrently spanned more than sixty-eight years as an ordained minister serving churches and denominational leadership positions in Georgia, California, Minnesota, and South Carolina. In addition he completed a doctorate in pastoral care and a post-doctoral certification in marital and family therapy. He taught at the University of Georgia and opened a private practice in Atlanta and Canton, Ga. He founded the Lake Arrowhead Chapel in Cherokee County, Georgia (suburban Atlanta)and served more than 23 years before retiring in 2003. He has authored sixteen books including Living Without Limits, Try Marriage Before Divorce, and Getting More Family out of Your Dollar. His writing contributions have appeared in numerous professional journals as well as popular magazines. Featured as a speaker in university and seminary settings as well as conferences, he has preached or spoken in most of the United States and numerous foreign countries. He is a current newspaper columnist. He has appeared on radio and television programs both as an author and speaker across the United States.
