Cindy Van Rooy, award-winning author of Ten Precious Pigs, grew up in a town just north of Baltimore, Maryland. By day she is an accountant who loves numbers. By night she loves being creative. Quality time with family and friends is most important to Cindy. She lives in Louisville, Kentucky with her husband Bill, son Curtis, and dogs, Archer, and Chewie.
