Bridget Kies

Bridget Kies is Associate Professor of Film Studies and Production at Oakland University. She is co-editor of Fandom, the Next Generation (University of Iowa Press, 2022), author of Murder, She Wrote (Wayne State University Press, 2025), and co-author of Teaching AI in Film and Media (Routledge, 2025). Her current research focuses on generative and agentic AI's impacts on media industries and audience responses to those impacts.
