Jaz Laverick

Born and raised on an island in the pacific, Jaz grew up surrounded by old growth forests, coastal beaches and rolling mountain hikes.

Jaz wrote her first book when she was twelve. It was a wild thing, involving transdimentional traveling elf princesses and civil war and espionage. She finished the nine book series by the end of high school... but lost it all when her old family computer died.

From there, she continued writing into college and through opening a medieval restaurant in Victoria BC. When a terrible construction site accident left her bedridden and forced to close her business, Jaz sat down and wrote Abigail Tally's story.

She wrote down all her grief. She poored her heart and soul into Abigail, and a happy ending beyond struggle and social expectation. Jaz wrote a cozy dark fantasy that captured the heart in the process.

Today, Jaz is found at home with her loving family. Her dad-pun expert husband John, and her wild adventurous daughter Phoebe.
