Pattie Manente

Pattie Manente is the award-winning author of Brady Adventure Picture Books, celebrated for their charm, humor and relatable characters. Pattie fell in love with reading during a childhood hospital stay, an experience that fueled both her imagination and an enjoyable career in healthcare. As an author, Pattie's aim is to equip the youngest learners with emotional management skills. Through the adventures of the lovable and nervous puppy named Brady, children learn about overcoming fears, developing courage and healthy self-care habits.

Pattie's debut picture book, Brady and the Backyard Monster, received the Mom's Choice Gold Award, the Purple Dragonfly Book Award, NYC Big Book's Distinguished Favorite in the " Well-being Children" category, and the Royal Dragonfly Book Award. Pattie's second book in the Brady Adventure Picture Book series, Brady Goes to the Vet, received the distinguished Mom's Choice Gold Award Honoring Excellence. Pattie resides in California with her husband, Sabatino, and her Labrador retriever named Brady.
