Helen Morrish

After the sudden death of her husband, realising with a jolt that life really is too short, Helen left her job as an art director on a women's magazine to pursue a long-held dream of becoming an artist. To help her through her grief, she spent five minutes everyday drawing Rupert her dog, and these are the illustrations that have evolved into her debut book.

During the pandemic in 2020, she was asked to present her local art and music festival on it's very own YouTube channel. And

when she's not working on her next book, Helen likes nothing more then to watch a good horror film, write comedy and dance to 80s tunes!

She also has a huge collection of Sindy dolls and loves to style them in photo shoots.
