From London originally, I was a student at the University of Liverpool and after a few short-term appointments, I began an 11 year stint with American Express working my way up the corporate ladder in sales and then marketing of the American Express card. During this time, I worked in the UK (London and Brighton) and then in the Middle East (Bahrain), Switzerland (Zurich) and then Australia (Sydney). After that, something told me to make a change and after a year travelling the world following the Grand Slam tennis tournaments (a story told in my book, 'In Pursuit of the Slam: My Year Travelling to Tennis's Top Four Tournaments'), I then decided to become involved in the sport I loved. After 14 fantastic years coaching juniors, bad joints forced me to change again and moving to Greater Manchester, I became involved with sports memorabilia. A decade later, I became a book editor for i2i Publisher who have published my tennis memoir which is my first book.
