Rick Fishman

Rick Fishman is an Ohio State Buckeye alum and had a split career as an accountant and math teacher, and is currently retired … enjoying family time at home reading, writing, walking the dog, and feeding the squirrels. He and his wife have two adult children. The Navajo Event is Rick’s second novel, following his kids’ baseball comedy Sandlot Summit.

Living in Cleveland, Rick coached youth baseball in Lyndhurst, Ohio for 12 years and has been a volunteer in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Association since 2013. In 1992, Rick earned a spot in the Guinness Book of Records by painting the world’s largest map at Rowland Elementary School in South Euclid, Ohio.
