Jodi Humble

Hi there!

Like many of you I wear many hats. I am a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, and a friend. I am also an award winning teacher who has spent many years making learning engaging and fun for lots of little ones.

I was fortunate to have three uniquely strong and wonderful women as influences in my life. Ida Grace, my mother-in-law, who lived to be 100 years old was a shining example in so many ways. She had an exuberance for life, she was forever curious, constantly reading, and always learning and growing. My mother Belinda, who left this world too soon, taught me to embrace my creativity and strive for joy and balance in my life. Juanita my grandmother was my constant guiding light and I am so thankful that she was here for 94 years. Among the many things I gleaned from our time together was to be kind and respectful to others, lead by example, and to treat others the way you want to be treated. I am the person I am today as a result of time spent with these three lovely ladies.

I spend my work days in a bustling classroom full of little people. It is here that I do my best to be a guiding example for the next generation and to instill a love for learning. I love to travel and to escape into nature whenever possible, where I can recharge and refresh. I enjoy reading, writing, painting, and creating art. I am a lifelong learner and enjoy learning new things and teaching others.

I hope that through my children’s books, I can share my joy of learning and reading with you and your children.
