Irina Bancos

Dr Irina Bancos is the Associate Professor of Medicine and works in the Pituitary-Adrenal-Gonadal subdivision of Endocrinology division at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, USA. Her clinical and research interests include adrenal tumors, adrenal insufficiency and congenital adrenal hyperplasia, mild autonomous cortisol secretion, and Cushing Syndrome. Dr Bancos is passionate about mentoring future generation of endocrinologists and endocrine researchers, and has received several teaching awards. She has published more than 160 scientific articles and currently holds several grants in the field of adrenal disorders.
