Gregory S Cope

Gregory S. Cope grew up in Scottsdale, AZ where he enjoyed hanging out with his friends, playing sports and working on cars more than reading books, that just seemed kind of nerdy. Now a published author purely by the grace of God.

Greg holds an MBA in management & organizational behavior from California Lutheran University, Thousand Oaks and his BS degree in business from Western International University, Phoenix, graduating cum laude. Greg has spent his 38-year career in the manufacturing/logistics industry.

Greg’s inspiration for writing, “Momentum: The Transformational Power of Leadership,” was a result of experiencing hardship in his career in 2000 and the events leading up to that time. As Greg shared with his friends over the years, they, along with his wife, Vicki, inspired Greg to write a book on the leadership lessons he’s learned, challenging leaders to understand the impact their leadership style has on their employees and ultimately the health of their organization. Greg’s book draws the reader into the story, feeling the effect of each style he’s identified and how leaders and followers of these styles can learn valuable lessons from the true stories he shares. Greg’s life verse is Psalm 46:10, “Be still, and know that I am God.” NIV

In Greg’s free time, he enjoys visiting with his family, two daughters, sons-in-law, and four grandchildren every chance he gets. Greg loves fishing in the mountains of northern Arizona and dreams of landing the big one someday, working projects around the house, performing scheduled service on his cars, mastering the art of grilling on his Traeger and watching Dodger baseball.

Greg, and his wife, Vicki, reside in Cave Creek, AZ.
