Ruth Wild

Ruth Wild is a lover of the magic and mystery of the alchemical arts. She is fascinated by the transformative power of fermentation, in both ancient food practices and within the sacred vessel of the human body, where lost parts of ourselves can be rediscovered and transformed into poetic expression.

She was born in Blackburn, England and now lives in the hills of the Calder Valley, in Todmorden, West Yorkshire, with her husband, two children and dog, Patches. Inner Requiem takes you on a deep dive into subconscious waters, giving a voice to the voiceless. Like a moth to a flame, Ruth has been drawn to the path of seeking her own truth. Inner Requiem is a hymn to all the departed, a scribing of the soul.

Inner Requiem is Ruth’s first poetry collection.
