Lisa Varchol Perron

Lisa Varchol Perron is the author of several fiction and nonfiction books for kids. Her books have appeared on state lists, earned an SLJ starred review, and been named a JLG Gold Standard Selection, NSTA Outstanding Science Trade Book, Golden Kite Award Finalist, Best Science Book for Kids (NPR's Science Friday), and more. Her poetry has been featured in various anthologies and magazines, such as Highlights High Five, The Caterpillar, and Australia's The School Magazine. She lives with her family outside of Boston, Massachusetts.
