Carrie-Ann Barnes

Carrie Ann grew up in Welland, Ontario and now lives in Cambridge Ontario with her son, husband, dog (Winter) and 2 cats (Hermione and Luna). She works professionally as an environmental geoscientist and enjoys reading, the beach, tea, hiking, and camping.

She writes only in her spare time which due to covid has delayed the release of Book 3 in her series.

She is a member of the Cambridge Authors, and the Hespeler Books and Beers Club.

Book 1 of the Legend of East Series was originally written in 2002. In 2014, it made a self-published debut and in 2017 underwent minor edits and a full new cover. Book 2 followed in 2017.

The final novel in her series is set to release in early 2023. After this, there is a plan to launch into a new book (possible trilogy) with an idea which has been sitting on the side-burner for years so that the focus was on finishing the LOE series first.
