Erik Westhovens

Erik Westhovens has worked in IT most of his life, always at the forefront of cutting-edge technology and usually deeply involved with the experts on various platforms.

Cyber Security has slowly infiltrated his everyday work to such an extent that it is now the central focus of his activities. In the past ten years he has hacked anything from hardware ID chips to the Dutch Digital ID systems and maybe a large online retailer or two, and secured and rescued systems of dozens of multinationals. He currently works for Insight in the Netherlands and is Evangelist responsible for Cyber Security product development.
