Dr. Thomas Sieber

Thomas Sieber is today primarily a business coach. He is also a lecturer and author. As a long-term executive board member in charge of strategy and digital transformation, human resources, legal and compliance, and M&A, and a member of the board of directors, Chair, and secretary of the board of directors, he has vast and diverse practical experience with boards in different jurisdictions. With an Executive Master in Change at INSEAD where Thomas wrote about “how speaking up could improve corporate boards,” his qualification as an ICF coach and commercial mediator, and his practical board-coaching experience, he is perhaps uniquely placed to write about the human challenges at the top.

In 2020, Thomas Sieber was admitted as a research fellow at Harvard University with Professor Amy Edmondson as his academic sponsor, but COVID-19 restrictions prevented travel to the United States.

Having witnessed and experienced the rapidly evolving landscape of the corporate world from so many perspectives, boards, in particular, Thomas believes passionately that the dynamic of boards of directors and executive board teams requires a new way of operating: less of perfunctory governance and more heavily focused on creating effective team relationships and team responsibility.

Thomas Sieber founded in 2020 SieberBoardCoach ltd based in Basel, Switzerland - http://www.sieberboardcoach.com Besides board reviews, he loves to combine coaching and walking or conducting team developments in the mountains.
