Educator in grades k through graduate school for fifty years. Most of my work has been in mathematics education with a focus on children's literature in mathematics. Now I have turned my attention to reviewing children's books for their connections to diversity, racism, acceptance, tolerance, achievement and self-esteem. Diverse Achievers is a collection of 82 children's books dealing with these important issues for parents and teachers to read and discuss with their children/students.
