Jackee Ashwin

Jackee is the author of one book and two novelettes. Her memoir, published by Balboa Press in Bloomington, Indiana, USA was invited to participate in “The Word on the Street” in Toronto Canada in 2019.

In addition to writing at home, Jackee dedicates two days a week as a volunteer responsible for creating newsletters, applying for grants, creating social media content, and writing articles regarding the Not-For-Profit organisation in the local newspaper.

Jackee has worked in high-level senior administration and communication roles with an emphasis on Management and Business in the higher education and health sector. Her many interests include reusing, recycling, and refurbishing furniture along with her writing. Creating short stories and rhyming poems is a favoured pastime.
