Meg Merriet

Meg Merriet has written more novels than she can count. At twelve years old, Merriet wrote her first 80,000 words, a pirate novel that would earn her a scholarship to The Community School of Naples. Her dearest friends were her English teachers, and she soon learned she wanted to dedicate her life to studying and sharing literature with future generations. She has since pursued a career teaching. Merriet holds a Ph.D. in Literature from Louisiana State University. She is the winner of the Borck Essay Award for a piece that was recently published in Karl C. Alvestad's 21st Century Medievalisms: Between the Global and the Individual. Her short stories are published in the Antigonish Review, Mad Scientist Journal, and Brave New Girls.
