Frances Tosdevin

Frances lives life in a constant state of wonder, which she hopes equips her well to write picture books. She studied at Newnham College, Cambridge, where she read a mix of Archaeology/Anthropology and Classics. She is fascinated by the natural world, and is often to be found rescuing the tiniest of creatures from imminent catastrophe. She is especially fond of cats and chickens, as well as her growing cohort of grandchildren! Frances would love to know what it's like to be a plant, and to be able to tap into their world, and she is especially proud of her Royal Horticultural Society qualification. However, her main passion remains writing for children, whose imaginations know no bounds.
