Rick M. Smith has devoted more than 45 years to studying and teaching the Word of God, with a particular passion for helping believers discern the times through Scripture. His ministry has spanned preaching, writing, speaking, and music, equipping the Church to stand firm with a clear, Biblically grounded worldview. Rick is especially known for bringing clarity to topics such as Biblical prophecy, spiritual warfare, and the moral and cultural challenges facing today’s world.
A former Southern Gospel vocalist, Rick spent years traveling across the United States and Canada, sharing the hope of Christ through music and testimony. Today, he continues to serve bi‑vocationally in his hometown of Russellville, Arkansas—pastoring a local Baptist church while also working as a licensed funeral director, where he ministers to families in moments of deep need.
Beyond the pulpit, Rick brings creative experience in graphic design, audio and video production, and voice‑over work—skills he frequently uses to expand the reach of his teaching ministry. He studied for the ministry at Union University in Jackson, Tennessee, and Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.
Rick and his wife, Carol, are blessed with three children and four grandchildren who continue to fill their lives with joy, purpose, and God’s goodness. Together, they remain committed to helping believers develop spiritual discernment, confidence in Scripture, and unwavering hope as they navigate the days ahead.
