Timothy G. McKay Sr. was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend to many. On August 17, 2020, he left this earth suddenly at the young age of 54, but not without making a huge impact on the people he knew. Tim had a vision to share the love of his Savior, God, and King to the world. After graduating from, then, Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts in 1994, he sought many opportunities to do so through books, video, and music. He wanted nothing more than to point people to the Heavenly Creator and to see them living their best, fruitful, fulfilled life. Therefore, he encouraged his children and just about anyone he met to follow their dreams, to do what they love, and to never sit on the dreams and talents that God had given them.
Tim was a friend to all he met. He enjoyed talking with family and friends and learning more about them. He was passionate about life and encouraging others to enjoy theirs. Tim could make anyone of any age, race, class, or background feel valued, and always found a way to make them smile or laugh. He truly had a heart for encouraging and exalting people.
His wife, Phyllis McKay and their children: Autumn, Amber, Anna, Trinity, and Timothy II, have created the Timothy G. McKay Sr. Dream Scholarship Fund to honor his life and their commitment to fulfilling Mr. McKay’s vision. Tim McKay began writing the manuscript, for Prince of the Earth, around 2005 and made his final edits in July of 2020. Written as a novel, it demonstrates why God created Adam, what his purpose was and how every man regardless of Adam’s outcome, can successfully carry out God’s image for his life.
Prince of the Earth was edited for publication after his death and therefore some parts may or may not be his revised idea. However, the essence of his message is not lost. His vision was to put this book into the hands of millions!
