Melanie Shanks

Once upon a time, there was a storyteller, avid reader, maker, and mom named Melanie Shanks. She began her writing journey in Mrs. Chapman’s third grade class and has written hundreds of stories since. Melanie spent 12 years teaching preschool and is married to a teacher. Her love of children’s books and juvenile fiction is borderline obsession. To date, Melanie has published 5 books.
