Danielle Mitwasi was born in Beirut, Lebanon to multicultural family. Her passion for the ocean stems from her adventures and stories by the Mediterranean Sea. Her love for writing started at a young age where her imagination would run wild, and she loved writing short stories. Danielle came to the United States in the mid 1970s due to war in Lebanon. During this transition, her life changed forever. Danielle is a loving mother, sister, friend, and author. She is always helping others and is very generous with her time. When she arrived in the United States lots of misfortunes changed her life and she had to grow up fast.
She found herself taking the role of the responsible adult in the family by helping to financially support a lost mother, younger brother and a baby sister. She always fantasized of being free under the sea swimming with sea creatures who are her best friends. The sea waves are her safety blanket, and the bottom of the sea is her safe escape from humans. She is a mermaid.
Even now as a successful and healed adult she honors and respects her inner child who is very much connected to a mermaid life who in return touches other women who are also mermaids’ inner children. She worked on her inner child healing for many years with a great psychologist/therapist. She found her calling and is dedicated as a life coach to help others be in touch with their inner mermaid merman.
