Emma Pickett

Qualifying as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant in 2011, Emma has written several books that span the breastfeeding experience. Her first book, "You've Got it In You: a positive guide to breastfeeding," is for expectant and new parents. "The Breast Book" is a puberty book with a difference, designed to introduce girls to the world of breasts and help them to feel confident and prepared. "Supporting breastfeeding past six months and beyond" and "Supporting the transition from breastfeeding" is about empowering parents as their journeys continue and end. "The Story of Jessie's Milkies" is a joyful picture book that supports families with the different endings to a nursing relationship. Emma lives in London with her family and you can find her podcast "Makes Milk with Emma Pickett" as a further companion to a breastfeeding story.
