John D. Lowe

Mr. Lowe started as a journalist, before moving to the world of finance, and has written one business book, five novels and a novella. His most recent title reveals Alexander Hamilton’s relationship with Aaron Burr’s future wife and the woman who would exact revenge for Hamilton through her marriage to Burr. He is intimate with the subject of this novel as he is a descendant of Madame Jumel, or Eliza Bowen, the last wife of Aaron Burr. Family documents and lore were used and revealed for the first time, in the history of the family, in order to write this latest novel and explain once and for all the historical mystery surrounding this marriage of the former Vice President of the United States, and the man who shot Hamilton.
