ETERNAL GRAFFITI IS NOMINATED FOR A PEN/HEMINGWAY AWARD FOR A DEBUT NOVEL. This is a great honor. I've been writing and occasionally publishing fiction for years and have published essays, including a Modern Love piece in the New York Times. Peter Marlton is a pseudonym for Pete MacDonald. Obviously it's not a pseudonym to hide behind--it helps give me distance from the ordinary "me", which allows me much more freedom to write. I live in Seattle with my cat Tony and nine guitars.
