ABOUT DR. KOURTNEY POWERS (Sanfelice)

Dr. Kourtney Powers is a Certified Functional Medicine Specialist™, Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, Certified Yoga Instructor and Reiki Practitioner, and a CBD specialist, certified in Medicinal Cannabis Education in the state of Pennsylvania. Dr. Kourtney is the CEO and founder of her Functional Medicine Practice, Balanced Wellness Solutions, LLC as well as hosts the Balanced Wellness Solutions Podcast.

Dr. Kourtney is passionate about providing education and support through her group, “Let’s Talk Hemp with Kourtney.” Her true passion is educating people on the use of CBD and helping them navigate many health conditions. She has helped hundreds of people transform their quality of life using CBD and continues her work each day.

Working in a retail setting for over 16 years as a pharmacist, Dr. Kourtney recognized that there must be a better alternative for people taking so many prescriptions and still not feeling well. Always looking for natural and holistic therapies for herself and others interested in a different approach to health and wellness, she experimented on herself, when she substituted her 16-year prescription medication with a plant. It worked! This sparked a newfound love of holistic therapy that she continues to embrace and share with her clients today.

In her hybrid virtual and in-person practice, Dr. Kourtney’s purpose and passion is to continue to help people seeking alternatives to Western Medicine when they are really looking for the “why” they have an illness and helping them get to the root cause. She helps her clients achieve health and wellness through living a healthy lifestyle, focusing on nutrition, gut health, crushing anxiety, using CBD, hormone balancing, movement, mindset, focus, supplements, self-care, and helping people achieve balance through nourishment both on and off their plates.
