Dr. Christy Duan, MD (she/her/they/them) is an adult, perinatal, and child/adolescent psychiatrist based in NYC. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor at NYU who has authored multiple academic publications and presented at many national conferences. Dr. Duan trained at the University of Michigan, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and Zucker School of Medicine. She is also an award winning writer who has spent time on the ABC News Medical Unit and spoken at New York Comic Con about pop culture and mental health. Dr. Duan is passionate about social justice and addressing the needs of underserved populations. This includes LGBTQIA+, BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color), those in alternative relationships, and much more.
