HOPE SILVER, journalist and blogger, moved from Saint Petersburg to California in 2013 after winning

a green card lottery. Her flash fiction collection Curious Thinkers received a special “Creativity Award”

at the International Russian Writers Competition “Best Book of the Year” in Germany in 2016, as well as her novel, Born – Against All Odds, a year earlier. Hope is also a children’s author; her illustrated book about a traveling hedgehog reveals a very important secret: where happiness lives.
