I was made literate by the Gary Public School system and Jesus. I use that skill to chronicle events impactful to me. I have been writing stuff down since the age of 12. Writing helps me gain perspective. When not writing, I am creating a new soap project. I learned how to make soap by watching certain YouTube videos on repeat for about three years. When I found myself correcting everyone’s mistakes and when I finally understood how to use SoapCalc to develop my own soap recipes, I began my expensive hobby full throttle. I have boxes upon boxes of soap @luxetruesoap.com2020 on Instagram. When I’m not asleep, I’m mom to two humans who are technically adults but like me enough to hang around and a daughter to two patient parents. I am a member of a huge extended family, dotted about the globe and local. I am oddly patriotic and frequently in prayer. My strong female lead will reflect that journey. Enjoy the ride, it may get bumpy, don’t be afraid.
