Hi. Welcome to my Author Page. Great to have you around.

You can see from the photo (in Liverpool, by the way, though my birthplace is a short distance down the East Lancs Road, in Leigh) that I’ve been around a long time(1944) and aged wonderfully well. For 10 years I was a columnist for The Times (education supplement), and had a dedicated following of readers. At the time I was running a large College of Further Education (FE) in Sutton Coldfield and years of government neglect of FE gave me plenty of satirical ammunition to keep my readers amused. Once retired, I switched to novels and have had a whale of a time. There are five so far. Three of them have a golf-related setting, but have entertained readers who don’t have the slightest interest in the sport, because they are funny, original and fast-paced (or so I’m told). But if you don’t believe me, try the other two, which are set in very different worlds, but will hold your interest from start to fascinating finish. I am very proud of all five, happy they have bought pleasure to many people and made me lots of new friends. I am looking to find the energy for one more. Please feel free to get in touch, let me know what you think about the books, good or otherwise, and that will encourage me to keep going. Happy reading, Graham
