Steve Hackney

Stephen Thomas Hackney was born 13 June 1968 and he is an English former rugby union player. During his professional rugby career, Steve played for Leicester Tigers, England ('A', XV, '7s') and the famed Barbarians. Success on the rugby field was soon followed by success off the pitch, when he co-founded his business “The Machine”.

Over the past 20 years Steve has dedicated himself to helping people start, build and scale highly-successful businesses. During this time, he has worked with tens of thousands of business owners and entrepreneurs. He created 'The FORMULA' which is an internationally renown and proven business growth system, Business Mentoring Success, which helps people become highly successful business mentors and more recently 'The MACHINE', which is a step-by-step system for service-based businesses.

Steve believes it’s not what you do to grow your business it’s how you do it, in fact when you follow a proven set of time-tested principles "growing your business isn't rocket science... but it is a science!".

Steve was born in Stockton-on-Tees, UK and lives in Leicestershire. He is married with three children.
