Matt Vidal

Matt Vidal is Reader in Sociology and Political Economy in the Institute for International Management, Loughborough University London. He works within the historical materialist (marxist) tradition while drawing heavily from sociological institutionalism, organization theory, and the evolutionary and post-Keynesian schools of heterodox economics. Matt has published four books, over 20 journal articles or book chapters and over 20 short academic articles on work/human resource management/employment relations, labor markets, comparative political economy of capitalist growth/crisis/institutional change, and social theory. He has also published and over 45 popular opinion or new analysis pieces.
