JEIMY J. CANO M.

Engineer and Master's Degree in Systems and Computer Engineering from Universidad de los Andes. Specialist in Disciplinary Law from Universidad Externado de Colombia. Ph.D in Business Administration from Newport University, CA. Ph.D. in Education from Universidad Santo Tomas, Colombia. He has more than 25 years of experience as an academic, executive and professional in information security, privacy, cybersecurity, digital evidence, computer forensics, governance and IT auditing. He is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Cobit5 Certificate, Certified Internal Control Auditor (CICA), Executive Certificate in Leadership and Management from MIT Sloan School of Management and Executive Certificate in Cybersecurity Leadership and Strategy from Florida International University.

In 2016 he received recognition as "Cybersecurity Educator of the year 2016" for Latin America by the Cybersecurity Excellence Awards. Author of reference books on security and control in Latin America such as Computación forense. Descubriendo los rastros informáticos, Manual de un CISO and his most recent publication "Ciberseguridad Empresarial: Reflexiones y retos para los ejecutivos del siglo XXI". He has more than 200 publications in international journals and events. He has been an invited speaker at more than a hundred national and international forums and conferences on security and control issues in Latin America. He is currently a university professor and independent international consultant in his areas of expertise.
