Reem Alajmi

Reem Alajmi holds a master’s degree in sociology with

a concentration in childhood and youth development.

Through her education, she has acquired deep knowledge

about how children are shaped by the environment and

become socialized.

Having grown up abroad, Reem relates to the struggles

many Muslim parents experience while raising their

children according to Islamic values and beliefs. Finding

Islamic children’s books that represent Islam and its

sacred holidays can be challenging for parents, especially

when trying to find a book that keeps their children

engaged and entertained. In combination with this and

her passion for creative writing and children’s narratives,
