Sharron I Ware

A Christian believer and registered nurse, Sharron I. Ware was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, then called manic-depressive illness, at the age of thirty-eight. With multiple failed attempts at treatment of symptoms and misdiagnoses behind her, the revelation came as a mixed blessing. After years of ongoing medication, counseling, lifestyle changes, and prayer she now enjoys stability without the severe mood swings which characterize the illness. She contends that it has been, and continues to be, well worth the effort. Early in her journey, she began to feel the urge to connect with those who could relate to her condition and learn from her experiences. Her book is the culmination of that desire. Sharron holds a bachelors degree in nursing and is on the verge of retirement from a long successful career. She looks forward to spending more time gardening, traveling, taking photos, and writing. The mother of two grown sons, she lives in North Florida with her husband of forty-four years and two spoiled cats.
