Daniela Vogel

Daniela was born in Karlsruhe in Southern Germany in 1979. She was interested in nature and literature from an early age. She wandered through the forest, collected mushrooms and edible plants, knew a lot about birds and other animals. At home, she was rarely found without a book in her hand. She read standing up, walking, and in the most impossible positions.

After graduating from high school, Daniela initially began studying biology, but she realized that the career options did not suit her. She switched to studying technical writing, which she completed in 2008.

As a technical writer, Daniela is familiar with writing manuals, explaining something orally and in writing is her daily bread. Writing literature also requires arousing emotions in the reader, which was the welcome challenge in her work as the author of this debut work.

Always very family-oriented, it was very difficult for Daniela when her wish to have a child was not fulfilled for many years. She finally became pregnant through an egg donation abroad. She processed her experiences in her first book "The Second Line".

She lives in the Black Forest with her partner and son, where the family enjoys exploring the surroundings by bike. In addition to cycling, the family enjoys playing music, at a low level but with great enthusiasm.
