Flakus

I grew up in South Dakota and have been to every state in the USA, living for a few years in Nebraska, Virginia, New York, Florida, California and Texas. I have also lived in three foreign countries- The Philippines, Costa Rica and Mexico. I wrote my book, "Living with Killer Bees," while I was covering Central America for the Voice of America. I retired from VOA in 2017 and have been involved in filmmaking in recent years. I currently live near Houston, Texas.
