Lori Gardner Child

Lori Gardner Child is a lifelong Utah native. She loves the Rocky Mountains

and spends as much time in them as possible. She and her husband Mike

have been married for thirty-two years and have three grown sons. They enjoy

attending concerts together, mostly classic rock and country. Lori’s favorite

band is Styx. She had a goal to see them fifty times before she turned fifty and

has long since surpassed that goal.

Some of her favorite jobs have been doing stand-in and extra work on TV

shows and movies, working in an elementary special needs class and working

for a mortgage broker. But her most favorite job was being a stay-at-home

mom and raising her three boys.

In her spare time, Lori enjoys learning new things, working with the

youth in her church, spending time outdoors, and playing indoor soccer.

When she is home, she is rarely seen without the most beautiful golden

retriever under her feet. His name is Rockstar (Rocky, for short).
