Damian Culhane

Damian became an International Best-Selling Author, after meeting a publisher whilst travelling in Croatia. The three compilation books where Damian’s stories appear are in multiple business and personal growth categories and were Amazon #1 Best Sellers across multiple countries. He is also the host of The Self-Sabotage Show podcast, sharing stories from inspirational guests from around the world.

During his successful corporate career Damian worked across international markets and in multiple business sectors, building up a wealth of knowledge. He started his working life with Marks & Spencer before moving into FMCG with Walkers Crisps and Bryant & May; later he moved onto the business-to-business sector and has extensive international experience negotiating, implementing and managing complex solutions at Hays plc, Staples, Mitie and the Institute for Hospitality Management.

Following the diagnosis of his youngest sons life-limiting disability, Damian suffered from mental health issues and addiction - causing him to sabotage his personal and business life. As a result of the suffering Damian experienced, he now works 1:1 supporting individuals to overcome self-sabotage and raise their consciousness by unlocking and developing their potential. Damian has been actively involved in delivering management training and coaching to an impressive list of blue-chip global organisations. He was previously a trainer with the Coaching Academy; the Academy of Executive Coaching; the Entrepreneurs Circle; The Academy for Chief Executives and the National Enterprise Academy.

Damian spends a considerable amount of time helping charitable causes to raise money and is an Honorary Life Member with Action Duchenne. In addition, Damian runs his own social enterprise - providing workshops for people suffering with mental health issues. He was previously a member of Colchester Round Table – working in the local community helping to organise events such as the Colchester Carnival.

Damian is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and the Institute of Sales Management – where he has regularly spoken at their events. Damian is a Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming and an accredited Master Practitioner of Hypnotherapy.
