Ann M. Steffen

Ann M. Steffen, PhD, ABPP is Founders Professor of Psychological and Brain Sciences at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, where she has spent her career in teaching, research, supervision, and direct clinical services focused on the needs of older adults and family caregivers. She earned her PhD in clinical psychology from Indiana University-Bloomington and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in clinical geropsychology at Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. Steffen is a fellow of the Gerontological Society of America and the Association of Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies. She is a dual certified Diplomat in Behavioral and Cognitive Psychology (ABBCP) and a Diplomat in Geropsychology (ABGERO) of the American Board of Professional Psychology. Dr. Steffen is active as a professional trainer of licensed mental health providers.
