Dr. Vivian Carroll is a lover of books. One of the ways she has gained a wealth of knowledge, wisdom, and understanding is through reading books. At the age of 7, she found herself at the school library, intentionally selecting autobiographies and biographies. The Life of Helen Keller and George Washington Carver were among her favorite books, which encouraged her in discovering how people overcome their adversities of poverty, illness, and social injustices, and successfully impacted the world. As a result, she developed a passion and a humanitarian drive to empower individuals to fulfill their purpose who have had difficulty finding their way or may have lost their way.
Dr. Vivian Carroll holds a Ph.D. in Clinical/Pastoral Counseling, a M.A. in Christian Counseling, a M.S. in Special Education, and a B.A. in Early Elementary Education and Interpersonal Communication. She is an alumni of Hunter and Brooklyn College.
Alongside her husband, Apostle Stanley Carroll, Dr. Vivian Carroll currently pastors Purple Heart Ministries, Int’l, in Danbury, Connecticut. Their sons, Ministers Jahrell and Jamel Carroll, co-labor with them.
