In his career spanning over 5 years in the education industry, Bijit Sinha has held the positions of an English Coordinator and an Associate Desk Editor at The Ardee School, Gurugram and Cambridge University Press India, respectively. Post-Masters in
English from Delhi University, he had co-founded and conceptualized a collaborative writer’s platform, HookBlue, in collaboration with notable authors from the Big 5 publishing houses.
His reimagination of Jataka Tales, co-authored with his students, was released by Half Baked Beans in autumn 2020. He is presently working on two more retellings of Indian classics, viz. Panchatantra and Hitopadesha, and a retelling of the Assamese folktale, Tejimola that pays homage to his home state. He aims to shed further light on regional literature in India.
