Luke Moravec

Since the age of fifteen, Luke Moravec has been a Scooby-Doo afficionado. Much of his writing is inspired by the mystery and fun of early episodes. He has spent years bringing stories to local stages by writing scripts for semi-professional theater performances, short scenes for youth acting classes, as well as storylines and puzzles for escape rooms. Whenever possible, he speaks to young writers at conferences and visits schools to talk about the enjoyment and methodology of creativity and storytelling.

In 2013, Luke and his wife, Cheryl Skafte, co-wrote "The Christmas City Express". The picture book is presented as a seasonal, interactive storytelling event that draws thousands to the Lake Superior Railroad Museum every December.

He lives in Duluth, Minnesota.
