Carola Roll, born 1978, studied technical business administration, lean operations management and integrated management systems in Straubing and Krems (Austria). Over 20 years of experience in interface positions between business and technology in the railway technology, motor sports and automotive industries as well as plant and mechanical engineering.
She currently works as an Integrated Management System Officer and Strategic Operations Organiser for a medium-sized company in the mechanical engineering sector.
Her work focuses on quality and integrated management, lean management and the design of future-oriented management systems. In addition, her personal fascination and scientific interest belong to the fields of management cybernetics and in particular the Viable System Model according to Stafford Beer and its practical application. She won the ConSense Scientific Award in 2019 for her work on this.
She uses her practice-oriented interpretation of this model, which has been incorporated into the development of the RoBau Method©, to design forward-looking working environments that seek to combine the requirements of customers, the economic interests of the company and the aspirations of employees for professional and personal development in the best possible way.
