Zan Fraser was a historian and scholar of the mystic arts. He was an expert in witchcraft, medieval studies and pagan studies. He graduated from the National Shakespeare Conservatory and was a longtime resident of New York City. In pagan circles he was known as The Pagan Scribe of New York City. Fraser wrote a series of five books that comprise Zan Fraser’s Mystic Arts Series: A Briefe Historie of Wytches, The Goddess of Wytches, The Horned God of Wytches, The Burning Times, and A Briefe Historie of Magi. The series is an in-depth exploration of how our popular thought about these magical, mystical and mysterious figures evolved through the centuries.
