Ms. Lynn Cobb

Lynn Cobb is a professional photographer specializing in portraits. She draws her inspiration from the people she photographs and loves to hear the stories of their lives. As a portrait photographer of 30 years, Lynn began this personal photo project on these dogs and their handlers, and it evolved into so much more. Her hope for Good Dogs of Service is to bring awareness to all of these highly trained “professional” dogs who we see in our everyday lives, but not many people know much about them. From guide dogs, hearing dogs, PTSD service dogs, military K-9s and search dogs, these dogs are all so vital to our society. Throughout the book there are beautiful portraits, but even more importantly there are stories from the handlers themselves about their special bonds with their dogs. Her mission: to inspire others to love these dogs as much as she does and become their advocates.
