Rusky the Husky travels Australia is my first book and I hope to expand Rusky into a series.

It's a travel book that adults will enjoy and learn from, and it's a children's picture book rolled into one.

My great friend Jodie's watercolour illustrations are just wonderful and bring out the light and hues of the Australian landscape so much better than digital art. I hope that Rusky will be travelling New Zealand, Japan, Spain and many other countries soon.

My husband Andrew and I have visited all the places where Rusky goes. Andrew even had his own close call with a hungry salt water crocodile whilst fishing for barramundi in a small boat in the North of Western Australia.

We own a little old motorhome that is stored in a farmer's barn near Heathrow Airport in England and pre-covid we would take four months off and travel Europe each year, so I have mountains of photographs and memories to work with for future Rusky books.
